What we do.

Swisscontact aims to contribute towards income generation and employment opportunities in South Africa by helping MSMEs to thrive. We provide technical assistance, capacity building, training and institutional development to partners that assist these businesses to become competitive, grow and expend. We do this in a manner that promotes gender equality and sustainable usage of natural resources.

How we do it.

We make a contribution to economic and social development in South Africa by:

• Promoting vocational education and training
• Promoting MSMEs
• Reducing environmental contamination stemming from economic activity
• Improving saving and credit opportunities for poor housholds and MSMEs
