It is my pleasure to introduce you to Swisscontact and our work in South Africa.

Our conviction is that it is the private sector that is the driver of economic growth and development. Therefore, Swisscontact works with its partner towards the improvement of the framework conditions of the private sector. Since 2003, our activities in South Africa focus on the promotion of small and medium enterprises through skills development, access to finance, access to markets and local economic development.

Besides the projects funded by private businesses, associations and foundations, Swisscontact designs and implements projects on behalf of multilateral and bilateral donors such as GTZ, Swiss Government, ADA and IFC.
